Job overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be pivotal in the deployment, automation, maintenance, and management of cloud-based production systems. You will ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of our microservices architecture.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Kubernetes (k8s) for container orchestration, ensuring smooth deployment and scaling of our microservices which include Node.js, .NET, and Python applications.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm, ensuring repeatable and reliable configuration of cloud resources.
Manage and optimize our multicloud environment, which includes Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Leverage Azure DevOps and other CI/CD tools to automate the software delivery process.
Work with Istio for controlling and observing microservices, improving their connectivity, security, and monitoring.
Support MongoDB environments, ensuring their performance, availability, and security.
Monitor system performance, respond to incidents, and proactively work on preventing recurrence of issues.
Work closely with development teams to ensure operational requirements are considered and met during the software development lifecycle.
Requirements:
Proficient with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
Solid experience with at least one cloud service provider (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Good understanding of networking, security, and database concepts.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with MongoDB.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
Experience with Istio or similar service mesh technologies.
Scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python)
Strong conversational and technical English.
