When ordinary horizontal foam pumps transport foam slurry, it often becomes difficult to transport the slurry and the slurry pool overflows. In the 1990s, Shijiazhuang Water Pump Factory introduced the AF series vertical foam pump for the transportation of foam-containing slurry pumps. Its advantage is that it uses a tapered feed box with a tangential inlet to transport foam slurry. Enter the conical feed box through the tangential inlet, and the spiral enters the bottom of the conical feed box. While the spiral enters, the contact time between the foamed slurry and the air will be increased, which is beneficial to the discharge of gas in the slurry. Of course, the vertical foam pump also has certain disadvantages: due to the long cantilever of the main shaft, the conveying lift is limited by the critical speed and cannot achieve a particularly high lift. Due to the use of a conical feed barrel, the floor space will be much larger than that of an ordinary slurry pump. Due to the special structure, more materials are used than ordinary slurry pumps, so the price is correspondingly higher than ordinary slurry pumps.
