Are vertical slurry pumps and submersible pumps the same type of pump?

Are vertical slag slurry pump and submerged slurry pump the same kind of pump? People who don’t know about slurry pumps will have questions about these two names. Does this refer to a kind of pump? The answer is yes. They both refer to the same type of pump.
Due to different installation methods, the pump head of one type of slurry pump will be immersed in the slurry, so it is called a submersible slurry pump. Because when it is installed, the motor is above the mounting plate and the pump head is below. It looks like it is standing up, so it is also called a vertical slurry pump.
Common submersible slurry pump series include: SP series, ZJL series. The flow parts of these two series of slurry pumps are made of high chromium alloy. The SP series also has a rubber material.
There is also a submersible pump called the PNL series. The flow-passing parts of this series are made of cast iron. It is more suitable for transporting slurry with only mud and no particulate matter.
