The first number «6» refers to complete protection from the intrusion of dust and other particles, which is the highest standard for dust resistance. The second number «8» refers to complete prevention of water intrusion under the specified water pressure, which is the highest waterproof level standard. Generally, the protection level of horizontal pumps or vertical pumps is IP55. Therefore, one of the most important features of the submersible slurry pump motor is its high level of protection.
