2. Variable speed adjustment. This adjustment method is to adjust the flow rate by changing the speed of the slurry pump impeller. This method has very little additional power loss and is the most economical method. It is necessary to add a speed changer and a speed change motor, and the initial investment cost is relatively high. The constant pressure variable frequency water supply system and the central air conditioning cooling water circulation system are two typical examples of the application of variable frequency speed regulation in slurry pump regulation. The method of changing the speed is most suitable for steam turbines, internal combustion engines and slurry pumps driven by DC motors. Variable frequency adjustment can also be used to change the motor speed. Sometimes the speed can also be adjusted by using a hydraulic coupling.
