Block part of the impeller flow path. This method reduces the flow of the slurry pump by blocking the impeller flow path, which is equivalent to the outlet valve throttling adjustment, but it is an active adjustment that reduces additional energy consumption and is more energy-saving than the control valve adjustment.
Adjust the outlet placement angle of the blades. This method is to adjust the flow rate of the slurry pump by changing the outlet angle of the impeller blade. This method is mostly used in axial flow slurry pumps.
Cavitation adjustment. This method is to change the inlet pressure of the slurry pump to cause cavitation in the pump, change the characteristic curve of the slurry pump, and thereby change the flow rate of the slurry pump. Practice has proved that if cavitation adjustment is used properly, the damage to the flow-passing parts of the slurry pump will not be serious; on the other hand, it can automatically adjust the flow rate and reduce the power consumption of the slurry pump.
Increase or decrease the number of slurry pumps. This method is to adjust the flow rate of the slurry pump by increasing or reducing the number of operating slurry pumps and supplementing it with appropriate merging methods.
