Stability
1. Xanthan gum is a biopolymer produced by Xanthomonas campestris using corn starch through bioengineering. It is a biopolysaccharide composed of glucose, mannose, glucuronic acid, acetic acid and pyruvic acid. The molecular structure of xanthan gum determines that it has unmatched properties of other polymers: 1. High viscosity at low concentration; 2. Good flow thixotropy or pseudoplasticity; 3. Acid, alkali, salt resistance, oxidation resistance, and enzymatic hydrolysis resistance; 4. Temperature resistance, stable during several freezing and thawing processes, and stable under high temperature conditions; 5. Good compatibility with acids, alkalis, salts, reducing agents, surfactants, preservatives, natural or synthetic thickeners in the same solution system; 6. Good dispersing effect, emulsification stabilization effect, and the ability to suspend particles and oil droplets.
It will not decompose if used and stored according to specifications.
