What are sewing accessories and their types.

Sewing accessories are zippers, buckles, buttons, eyelets, stripes, labels, braid, ribbon and sometimes even some parts of clothing and accessories to it. The main purpose of sewing accessories is to make clothes more comfortable, practical and attractive.
The main functions of accessories are to make clothes look more attractive and make them more comfortable to use.
The use of fittings is also associated with the use of threads.
The main types of threads and their purpose are sewing threads, which are used for sewing, as well as for making fabrics, embroidery threads and knitting threads.
By purpose, the threads are subdivided into:
- sewing threads, used for sewing on sewing machines,
- universal threads, used for sewing on sewing machines, overlocks and for hand sewing,
- decorative threads, used for finishing seams on sewing machines and overlocks,
- embroidery threads, used for manual embroidery, as well as for embroidery on automatic embroidery machines,
- special threads (heat-resistant, transparent, extra strong, etc.) are necessary for sewing special products.
- threads for the manufacture of knitted products (knitting in special knitting machines, knitting or crocheting).
According to the composition, the threads are mainly divided into: cotton, linen, silk, woolen threads, polyester threads (viscose), polyester threads (lavsan), polyamide (nylon) threads and monofilaments (fishing line), fiberglass threads, threads with metal foil.

Fabric and its types.

The appearance, structure and quality of fabrics used for sewing clothes determine the composition of the fibers from which they are produced. Basically there are:
    Natural. In turn, they are subdivided into fabrics of vegetable origin: cotton, linen or animal: silk, wool.
    Artificial. They are made by processing natural raw materials, most often wood - cellulose.
    Synthetic. They are a product of the chemical transformation of oil, coal or gas.
