Because the common desulfurization method in desulfurization projects is the gypsum method, which uses calcium hydroxide generated by mixing calcium oxide and water as a sulfur agent. After absorbing sulfur dioxide in the air, solids such as calcium sulfite and calcium sulfate will be formed in the solution. particulates.
Because these particles are highly corrosive, the corrosion resistance of the material should be considered when selecting a sulfur pump. A49 material has strong corrosion resistance, so desulfurization pumps mostly choose A49 material. Also because the slurry is corrosive, the site generally has higher requirements for shaft seals and no leakage. Therefore, mechanical seals are often used as shaft seals in desulfurization pumps.
Some desulfurization projects will also use natural rubber flow parts. As long as the particles in our slurry do not have sharp corners and are not highly corrosive, natural rubber is also a good choice.
